Who we are

Since 1955, RSPCA ACT continues to help, protect and advocate for better welfare for animals and for our local community.
Each year we anticipate thousands of animals will find their way to our shelter. We diligently respond to animals in urgent need and we feed, care for, desex, microchip and rehome animals every day.
The challenge is enormous, but we stand ready to meet the demand thanks to the support of the ACT community.
We want you to be proud of the RSPCA ACT team of staff, volunteers, foster carers and supporters. We have one of the best animal statistics in the country, with zero animals euthanised due to space constraints.
We love what we do but it takes a community to make a meaningful difference to the lives of abandoned, abused and neglected animals in the ACT.
