Ed

Poor Ed had one of the worst cases of dermatitis we’ve ever seen, his whole face was red, irritated, swollen and infected. Our cattery staff say they could feel the heat coming off his face.

Ed was found as a stray, living rough and struggling. No one was looking for him. As with so many other unowned cats, he suffered poor health. His ears were plagued by chronic infections, his skin was itchy and painful, and his eye was causing him issues.

Ed's recovery journey included foster care for over two months, where he received attention and love in a home environment.

Our vets worked hard to soothe his irritated skin, and he was prescribed special allergen-free food. His eye, which had been a source of pain for so long, required entropion surgery (eye removal). Our vets also performed a rare opening of his other eye, as his eyelid had formed poorly and wasn’t opening far enough to offer full sight.

His dedicated foster carer ensured he had a safe space to heal, regained strength and experienced the warmth of a home environment before he was ready for adoption.

Because of generous donors like you, Ed is now living his best life, pain free, content, and loved. But there are still so many animals waiting for their chance.
