Help injured animals like Cliffy
Cliffy arrived at RSPCA ACT in heartbreaking condition.
He was filthy, matted and covered in bruises, likely from being hit by a car. The impact had caused such damage to his eye that it couldn’t be saved. But Cliffy could.
Every one of them mattered.
Because of you, animals who had nowhere else to turn found safety, comfort, and hope.
Ed
Poor Ed had one of the worst cases of dermatitis we’ve ever seen, his whole face was red, irritated, swollen and infected. Our cattery staff say they could feel the heat coming off his face.
Make an even greater impact, set up a monthly gift to help animals all year round.
An animal shelter is no place for puppies.
We’re trying our best. We’ve been overwhelmed with puppies, more than 250 this financial year and we’ll do everything we can to raise them into healthy pets and find them perfect homes.
But we can’t help them without your help.
Zera
Zera arrived at our Shelter as a large, gorgeous German Shepherd who was found roaming in the streets.
Maisie
Maisie the overtly friendly black and white cat is living a happy, healthy life today and quite frankly, it’s miraculous.
Aussie
Little Aussie was impossible not to love. At first glance I saw a tiny Toy Poodle/Bichon Frise mix, with fluffy curls and the softest, most imploring eyes...
Sarge and Ranger
Animals are arriving with more complex needs and staying for longer which is why we need more help.
Mike
Mike arrived at our shelter with his left eye being nonfunctional, most likely from a genetic defect. He also had a slightly misaligned jaw.
Sari
Dogs arriving at our shelter often need extensive care, and Sari was no exception—her list of medical issues was challenging.
Finn
Finn was brought to RSPCA ACT in a shopping bag by a kind member of the public who found him. They originally thought the kitten was dead. He was missing the tip off his tail, had matted fur and showed no signs of life.
