Maisie the overtly friendly black and white cat is living a happy, healthy life today and quite frankly, it’s miraculous.
A non-functioning eye was the least of her worries. An extra-large, ulcerated mass on her chest was infected and of great concern. She had a similar, smaller mass in her mouth, several broken teeth and the flu.
As always, our veterinary team sprang into action and removed the lumps and commenced a treatment regime for the infection and other ailments.
But despite our best efforts, Maisie was still struggling.
Then, almost overnight, she turned a corner, and her natural affection shone even brighter.
Maisie was a favourite of the vet clinic, remaining under the pseudo foster care of the whole team, becoming somewhat of a temporary resident vet clinic cat.
