Graphic Designer (12-Month Maternity Leave Contract)

RSPCA ACT, Canberra's leading animal welfare charity, is seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer to join our Development and Engagement team on a 12-month maternity leave contract.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role within a small but high-performing team, where your work will directly support fundraising, community engagement, and animal welfare outcomes. From designing campaign assets to capturing video content and maintaining digital platforms, no two days are the same.

About the Role

You'll play a key role in bringing our campaigns and stories to life through high-quality design, photography and video content. You'll work across digital and print, supporting fundraising appeals, events, social media, and website content.

About You

You're a creative thinker with a strong eye for detail and the ability to move quickly from concept to execution. You're comfortable working across multiple platforms and formats and enjoy creating content that connects with different audiences.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design across digital and print
  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional graphic design experience
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Intermediate to advanced experience creating and editing video content
  • Confident managing website content (Drupal) and digital platforms
  • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and a genuine passion for animal welfare
